This is THE GREATEST Adventures in Odyssey episode OF ALL TIME!!




    This episode, The Picture Day Plot, perfectly captures ALL—and I mean ALL—of SSALTW in a thrilling 30-minute story set during one day at Odyssey Middle School. Buddy Norman intercepts intel about an attack targeting the duly elected president, Emily Merriame Jones, because she used the full force of the Odyssey Middle School Government (OMSG) to cancel a school play in favor of her friend Zoe Grant’s production.

    Special Secret Service Agent Buddy races to warn President Jones, but due to a past complication, she’s reluctant to listen. Undeterred, he insists on serving as her secret service agent and shadows her around the school. JSUT LIKE IN SSALTW WHER SSA PROTECTS DENVER, HAZEL, SIEANNA, etc, The credible threat Buddy uncovered? An act of terror targeting Emily’s clothes for yearbook photo day. Strangely, when Buddy relays this intel, Emily dismisses it as implausible. Okay… maybe she has a point. I’ve only been chased behind the woods at school twice, endured a chemical attack via perfume, and hid under the bleachers—but nobody’s ever tried to ruin my picture day. (Though someone did try to make a movie about me in 7th grade—but I digress) This is the world of Odyssey, though! Just a few episodes ago, the President and her allies were nearly suspended over a bizarre revenge plot to oust her dad from office. I do like that in this clip Buddy makes sure everythig is in context, as lots of AIO epidoses a have the trope of a misunderstanding and the lesson is 'never assume'

Emily was even IMPEACHED, for crying out loud! 



    This same character is allied with someone who nearly sparked World War III with Canada and China and could be considered an international felon. This President has been locked in a room,an Imagination Station adventure, and essentially had her election stolen for her. She’s tracked down blackmailers using IP/GPS addresses and thwarted grade-changing schemers. But someone messing up her hair and dress for picture day? Apparently, that’s too far-fetched. Are you kidding me?

    In the episode, while Buddy follows Emily, they duck into a closet and discover someone tried to sabotage her with mustard. But when they fetch a teacher, the evidence has vanished. Oddly, Emily—the President and detective—doesn’t take photos or use her audio diary. (I digress again.) As the President emerges with her security detail, Carrie asks if Emily and Buddy are dating, prompting Emily to shoo him away.

 There, Buddy learns from a teacher that Carrie is an “affected student” and pieces it together… yes, folks, AIO acknowledges a crush attack! Carrie tried to use FAKE CRUSH RUMORS to destroy Emily and her security team. 


Sound familiar? It’s straight out of SSALTW’s Book “Blondegate” based on the 2023 Hazel investigation, where the SSA investigates Special Agent Maverick for an alleged crush on Hazel 1.0. Or the 9th-grade war from the SSALTW website, when 9th graders tried to spark a conflict between SSA and GCAM, threatening global security. Or the 2019 Nikka Doctrine from SSALTW at Liberty Prep? Yes, AIO wove this into a real story! Just as Buddy relays this to the President, Carrie strikes with ketchup, aiming at Emily but missing.

    The President and her security detail race through the lunchroom and outside, chased by Carrier and her allies and hop on a bike to the theater. Why no one stops these kids running like they’re celebrating Vanderbilt beating Bama (😭), I don’t know, but Emily and Buddy speed away and sneak into the theater. Carrie and her crew search but can’t find them. In a heart-to-heart, Buddy swears allegiance to the duly elected President of Odyssey Middle School, confessing he wants to right a past wrong. Emily drops a bombshell: she used the full power of student government to cancel the opposing play because it had anti-Christian themes. Yes, Emily Merriame Jones went full Christian Nationalist—and got away with it! It’s like the 2022 Energizer election in SSALTW, where, despite relentless trouble, chases through the school, and extreme political opposition, Emily does the right thing.

Buddy then marches her to the gym, where he defends against the final attack: a glitter assault. He takes the hit for his President! In just 30 minutes, we get:


- A chase → SSALTW (2018, 2019, 2024)

- Crush rumors → SSALTW (2019, 2024, SSALTW Book)

- School President and student council under fire → SSALTW (2022, 2023-24)

- Evangelical President → SSALTW (2022)


And so much more. This episode left me in SHOCK and AWE!!!

  Hey guys it’s TheOdysseyBoi with a special article. WE ARE SHUTTING….Just KIDDING. WE are EXPANDING!! With that in mind let's get to the news story of the day. Adventures in Odyssey has announced that Album 78 will come out Dec 12 th , on the club. Like most albums from now on it contains 6 episodes. Interestingly, I checked the listing and it only had 5 episodes listed on AIO wiki. One of the interesting episodes, to me at least, is the episode about Emily having assault charges brought against her. Will Morrie and Suzu have to bail her out? (probably) Also, episode 999 was released today, on the club. Jesus Loves You Sin doesn’t go away on it’s own. Somebody has to pay for it. Who could it be?   Odyssey Owl:Odyssey – In a dramatic turn of events, Emily Marrieme Jones, the, now, former student body president of Odyssey Middle School, has been impeached following serious assault allegations that surfaced in the Connisville Middle School newspaper. The accusations have caused a stir in the school and raised questions about how the situation has been handled.        The allegations, which were made public in the school newspaper, suggest that Odyssey’s administration may have been attempting to cover up the accusations in order to protect Emily’s father, who is currently running for re-election in the Odyssey District 17A.
