 Hello OdysseyBoiers today I am talking about the 4th wall breaking, physics breaking episode that should not be canon. Episode 167  Dobson comes to town.


Background:

    First imagine Kristen family listening to this episode in 1995.  A large family on a farm who listens to audio drama.  Her family wakes up early in the morning to milk the cows and at 9:30 in the morning goes to the radio to listen to the broadcast and hears a full 30 min ad for a television show about Odyssey. 


Problems:

First of all poor Kristen just wasted 30 min of her time when she could be doing something else, and this episode also breaks the 4th wall (runs over it with a tank in actuality) breaks the laws of the Imagination Station, and the laws of physics. Last of all if you cut out the entire ad for the show you get a 5min drama that goes something like this.   

Dr. Dobson comes in.

Eugen/Connie: Who are you? (Basically) 

Dr. Dobson: No one knows who I am.

Eugene: I am in the play. 

Connie: I hate how Eugene thinks he is better than me because he is an actor.

Eugene: Stop getting so annoyed. See Dr. Dobson she is touchy. Also I am smarter than she is so I am in the play.  

Dr. Dobson: As one of a ''higher intelligence'' you should not bring it up when Connie is around and Connie don't be so touchy. 

Eugene: Oh you are right. Wow.

Dr. Dobson: I'm Dr. Dobson

Roybn: I have seen your books Dr. Dobson my parent listen to your radio program: (She has a problem but will not tell Dr. Dobson)

Later Dr. Dobson sees Dale who says he is busy and Dr Dobson convinces him to spend more time with Roybn. Dale also asks also of Focus related questions including the move to Colorado. 

(It is noted Dr. Dobson sounds like Mr. Whittaker.)

Basically the episode sans the tv stuff is a 5min episode, but it gets worse/funnier. Mr. Whittaker mentions the name of the program (Adventures in Odyssey) and that they and the the name of the first TV episode. (Knight travelers) Whit also says they are producing the episode in Whit's End which does not make sense which means the episodes are not canon. 


Physics Breaking

    The way Dr. Dobson gets home is through the Imagination Station which breaks Imagination Station laws, and the laws of physics. The Imagination Station has never transported people places and it is a VR (Virtual Reality) program. If Whit could teleport people with the station why is it just being used to tell Bible stories. Why is this tech not in airports. Novacom would not work because it was mind control not teleportation. It also breaks the know laws of physics (a tiny piece of matter has been teleported but not a person). It is just confusing and breaks the laws of physics and the Imagination Station.

(And Everyone Else) Have you ever tried to be good? I mean really, really good? How about trying to be perfect for a whole day? I know I have. Sometimes I think I’ve done a pretty good job. Other times I know I’ve messed up. 

    Sometimes I mess up small. But sometimes I mess up really big. The problem is, none of us can be good enough for God’s perfect heaven. The Bible says that the tiniest bad thing – even just a bad thought! – is enough to make everyone in the whole world guilty. That’s you. That’s me! Guilty people have to be punished. The punishment for sin (our badness) is being separated from God forever when we die. In hell we would be far away from His love. That’s bad news! But God didn’t let the story end there. He wanted to make a way to get rid of that horrible punishment so people could be with Him in heaven forever. But how?

                                                                        Jesus Loves You 


    Sin doesn’t go away on it’s own. Somebody has to pay for it. Who could it be? God knew there was only one choice: His own Son Jesus. Jesus came to earth and did something we could never do: He obeyed perfectly. He never messed up. He never even had a bad thought. But He still took the horrible punishment for sin by dying on the cross. God put all of His anger on Jesus. Jesus didn’t deserve that! Why did He take the punishment for something He didn’t do? He did it so that you and I don’t have to. You mean we don’t have to pay for our own sins? Now that’s GOOD NEWS! 

    Jesus didn’t stay dead. After three days He rose again to show everyone He has the power to give eternal life. If we trust in Him, God has no more punishment for us. Instead He offers us eternal life in heaven. When Jesus takes the sin out of our hearts He puts something else in it’s place: His perfect life. God sees Jesus’ goodness in us instead of our badness. Jesus’ good days cover all of our yucky days.

   
He takes our bad out and puts His good in. Do you still mess up sometimes? Me too. But now we can have something we didn’t have before: forgiveness! Pray and ask God to forgive your sins because of what Jesus did. Instead of being guilty you’ll be forgiven. Now that’s not just good news – that’s the BEST news!      Have you ever listened to Adventures In Odyssey and said, "I wish that was me" or "I wish I could do that"? Across most Christian Audio dramas, kids are detectives (like Emily and Liz), they can wander their town, and have plenty of fun.      In the real world, you don't get as many detective cases (I've tried) and a band of Christian kids with a radio show, spy agency, and a great church won't find you if you sit alone at school. The Pond Laws Are... Kinda Weird

            Hey, all this website is not dead y'all haha. The Pond is presumed to be in the US (they speak English, Various US cities are referenced as the animal's hometown, and Tony says, "Somebody call the FAA!!"  This puts it under the US Constitution and various state laws and boy are these laws and the laws of physics violated. In one case, Floyd the Turtle is thrown in jail for whining!!! The mayor creates a law saying that it is illegal after the people whine at him. This clearly violates Floyd's 1st Amendment rights to free speech and the supreme court of the state or the US should have struck down that rule. Also, the fact that Floys is a Toddler who can barely read should be put into consideration. WHY IS HE EVEN IN JAIL!!!     We will get back to The Pond government which is WEAK      The second law that is violated is logic. Morrie Rydell Has a Crush on Emily.

      Morrie Rydell has a crush on Emily. This is the only way to explain his technological gobbledegook explanations. In the episode "The Team" Morrie states that he created an algorithm to spoof someone's location on a phone.       As the CEO of thetechboy.org, I can state that you cannot 'create' an algorithm to spoof a location. They have applications for this that are  pre-made. Thus he was lying about that to impress Emily. In the most recent club episode, Rydell Realizations he makes up gobbledegook about finding the IMEI number SIM logs, opening a phone, then and jailbreaking the phone, to trace the location of a video call....umm what!!       To start, iPhones don't have removable batteries, secondly, you CANNOT trace a video call using an IMEI number!! That is not how phone tracing works.  I should know as I have spent way to much time doing research into that. Also, video calls are usually over the Internet not over the mobile network.
