OAC Club How can it Be made better?

 


    I think the club is great, I have never owned an album because I never bought one and just listened online. What got me were the bonus episodes, and I also like the magazine subscriptions. So I paid the money and got access to almost all the episodes and I listened to all the club episodes. However the Club can be infuriating to people who do not have access or do not want to pay 100 dollars, or have almost all the albums and do not want to pay. 


1. Lower Priced Tier 

    This price would allow access for about three dollars to hear only the Club episodes, and maybe the magazine. This would allow for a price of 3*12mo = 36 dollars a year.  A good price for people who already own the albums to pay and get the extra episodes for around 30 dollars. The price of a new album is around 15 dollars. A new album has 6 episodes so two albums 6*2=12 episodes 12 episodes = 30 dollars. (Nowadays if you were to buy an old 12 episode album it is around 20 dollars) This seems like a fair price. 


2. Free Downloads

    One of the gripes of the Club is that you do not own the episodes, you just stream them. If Odyssey gave you the ability to get 12 free albums to download per year, and then get them a a discounted price (say 5 dollars). I was thinking 1 dollar but I found out the price of an album is 15 dollars. I believe that this would allow people to be able to quell fears of not being able to own episodes, and it would be a nice perk of the club. 12 albums are priced at 15 dollars would be 180 dollars So this would add good value to the 100 dollar club. Also this is digital media, so the price would not be dictated by the price of materials. 


3. Allow Club Episodes on Radio

    In stead of keeping club episodes only in the club, AIO could allow a few of the Club episodes (the latest and best albums on the off times that AIO is not producing albums. Instead of running through all the old episodes over and over again. My favorite episodes are There and Back Again, which is in the club. The club would still have value if they offered digital downloads and the magazine. (The magazine should be digital in the club adding even more value.) 


4. Allow episodes to be longer. If an AIO episode has to be cut for time for radio that's fine, but the Club is paid and does not have limits, so that would improve the Club immensely.   


5. Less Club Episodes

    The Club could have 6 instead of 12 episodes. This would allow the albums to have at least 8 or 12 episodes in an album. This would allow for more character development across the board.

      Jesus Loves You 


    Sin doesn’t go away on it’s own. Somebody has to pay for it. Who could it be? God knew there was only one choice: His own Son Jesus. Jesus came to earth and did something we could never do: He obeyed perfectly. He never messed up. He never even had a bad thought. But He still took the horrible punishment for sin by dying on the cross. God put all of His anger on Jesus. Jesus didn’t deserve that! Why did He take the punishment for something He didn’t do? He did it so that you and I don’t have to. You mean we don’t have to pay for our own sins? Now that’s GOOD NEWS! 

    Jesus didn’t stay dead. After three days He rose again to show everyone He has the power to give eternal life. If we trust in Him, God has no more punishment for us. Instead He offers us eternal life in heaven. When Jesus takes the sin out of our hearts He puts something else in it’s place: His perfect life. God sees Jesus’ goodness in us instead of our badness. Jesus’ good days cover all of our yucky days.

   
He takes our bad out and puts His good in. Do you still mess up sometimes? Me too. But now we can have something we didn’t have before: forgiveness! Pray and ask God to forgive your sins because of what Jesus did. Instead of being guilty you’ll be forgiven. Now that’s not just good news – that’s the BEST news! The Problem With An Idyllic Audiodrama

     Have you ever listened to Adventures In Odyssey and said, "I wish that was me" or "I wish I could do that"? Across most Christian Audio dramas, kids are detectives (like Emily and Liz), they can wander their town, and have plenty of fun.      In the real world, you don't get as many detective cases (I've tried) and a band of Christian kids with a radio show, spy agency, and a great church won't find you if you sit alone at school. The Pond Laws Are... Kinda Weird

            Hey, all this website is not dead y'all haha. The Pond is presumed to be in the US (they speak English, Various US cities are referenced as the animal's hometown, and Tony says, "Somebody call the FAA!!"  This puts it under the US Constitution and various state laws and boy are these laws and the laws of physics violated. In one case, Floyd the Turtle is thrown in jail for whining!!! The mayor creates a law saying that it is illegal after the people whine at him. This clearly violates Floyd's 1st Amendment rights to free speech and the supreme court of the state or the US should have struck down that rule. Also, the fact that Floys is a Toddler who can barely read should be put into consideration. WHY IS HE EVEN IN JAIL!!!     We will get back to The Pond government which is WEAK      The second law that is violated is logic. Morrie Rydell Has a Crush on Emily.

      Morrie Rydell has a crush on Emily. This is the only way to explain his technological gobbledegook explanations. In the episode "The Team" Morrie states that he created an algorithm to spoof someone's location on a phone.       As the CEO of thetechboy.org, I can state that you cannot 'create' an algorithm to spoof a location. They have applications for this that are  pre-made. Thus he was lying about that to impress Emily. In the most recent club episode, Rydell Realizations he makes up gobbledegook about finding the IMEI number SIM logs, opening a phone, then and jailbreaking the phone, to trace the location of a video call....umm what!!       To start, iPhones don't have removable batteries, secondly, you CANNOT trace a video call using an IMEI number!! That is not how phone tracing works.  I should know as I have spent way to much time doing research into that. Also, video calls are usually over the Internet not over the mobile network.
